The United Nations celebrates its day on 24 October, as the date of entry into force of the UN Charter, signed after World War II in 1945, with the aim of preserving peace and security in the world, promoting human rights, and supporting economic and social development.<\/p>\n
This year marks the 80th<\/sup> anniversary of the founding of the organization, which, despite challenges and limitations, has remained the key and irreplaceable platform for multilateral cooperation for eight decades.<\/p>\n Today, in a world facing growing geopolitical tensions and numerous global challenges \u2013 from conflict and instability, through climate change, to poverty alleviation and global health threats \u2013 the role of the United Nations as a unique forum for dialogue and cooperation has never been more important. It is therefore necessary to restore the full significance of this organization and to renew trust in multilateralism as the foundation of a just and stable international order.<\/p>\n The United Nations remains a symbol of the shared commitment of states to building peace, protecting human rights, and supporting sustainable development. By strengthening its role and consistently upholding the principles of the UN Charter, we can create a more stable, secure, and just world for future generations.<\/p>\n To mark the 80th<\/sup> anniversary of the organization, under the slogan \u201cBuilding Our Future Together\u201d, the United Nations has also created a jubilee logo.
